Going Home for the Summer? We’re Still Here for You

If you’re a university student registered with University of Lancashire Medical Centre and returning home within the UK over the summer, you can still access our services without needing to re-register with a GP near home.

• You can contact us by phone on 01772 970079 or use our online form for medical advice, prescriptions, or other support.

• We can even send your prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy local to you to collect.

• If you need to see a GP in person while away, you can register with a local practice as a temporary resident for up to 3 months. This keeps your registration with us active.

• Any updates made to your medical records by the temporary GP will be shared automatically with us, so we’ll always have your most up-to-date information.

• We also offer remote video appointments, so you may not even need to visit another GP in person.
